Summer time is here, time to relax by the pool, read a good book, and sip a tall cool drink -- after fending off those pesky aliens who want to steal Voyager, of course!

Our contest this month is an ode to summer. The rules are simple, write a story that includes hot weather, water, a cool drink, a storm, and a handsome golden skinned pool boy. Okay, everything but the pool boy... not that anyone will mind if you do include him!
